I modified newdev.dll to disable the device when the checkbox is selected.
However, this currently doesn't work (and the checkbox is disabled) because
enabling/disabling devices currently isn't implemented. Once implemented,
umpnpmgr shouldn't start the driver installation wizard anymore (for the
disabled devices).
