Gah, stupid return.

Something between 17698 and 17712 breaks installing from the bootcd, when
formatting the drive.

Even my freeldr boot floppy wouldn't boot it, saying no NTOSKRNL.EXE found.

Mounting the virtual disk, I see this:

You only see the failure when formatting is because otherwise the old (correctly
named) binaries are still there.
