Setup:
VMware Server 1.0 with or without a virtual sound adapter
fresh install from the iso
no sound driver installed

Just left clikc the volume icon to adjust the volume, and you get an error that
a file was not found. If this applet is incomplete or if the driver needs to be
installed, it should mention that. Also, the first or second time that you
right click the applet icon, the popup menu just flashes.
