Installing a soundblaster driver (according to 
http://www.reactos.org/wiki/index.php/Supported_Hardware/Sound_cards) with rev 
20580 works fine: WinAMP and MPLayer both play sound. Trying to install the 
same drivers with rev 20581 or higher fails (winamp and mplayer hang after 
buffering several blocks of sound data; no sound is played).
