Right, after a bit more sleuthing (and adding /noguiboot to the kernel
options), I found that the boot stalls after loading "Floppy". This would be
because I have no Floppy drive. I would hope that most people nowadays are no
longer using such an obsolete piece of engineering, so the driver should have a
detection method built in.
