I am using an optical USB trackball connected to the standard PS/2 port through
an adapter. Whenever I move the mouse, the pointer jumps to the lower left
corner. It also clicks and right clicks randomly.

I have a wireless keyboard that plugs into USB, but the receiver is made to
handle both a keyboard and a mouse, though I don't use the wireless mouse. I'm
not sure if this causes a conflict or not.

Everything works fine in all other opperating systems.
