Try recent development versions from http://svn.reactos.org/iso/
0.3.1 is obsolete.

Running under an emulator does not give information about these
hardware-dependent bugs. You can try to use serial cable as described in
http://www.reactos.org/wiki/index.php/Physical_serial_cable
