I haven't wrote that crash happened in qemu 0.9.1, under ArchLinux x64, with
iso being only image loaded into vm (there was no hdd image).

I've checked also qemu 0.9.0 in xp home, it just hung without closing the
windows. 

I had then added hdd image to command line - and livecd has started without
problems. Please don't close this bug though, as livecd 35332 could start even
with cd image only...
