My patch further explained:
I observed messages coming in pairs, the 2nd one with a remove flag. The
message handling code is complex, but I figured the following:
- I just can't assure they come always in pairs, there could be 0 or >1 without
remove flag. However I can be pretty certain there is always exactly 1 with
remove flag and it is the last one.
- The safest way of "killing off" is to ignore (not send) because this function
also translates the message.
- "Right point" is a difficult question. Ideally, the extra message shouldn't
be posted or sent in the first place, or maybe the extra copy is there just to
be translated, who knows. Who wants to do a major rewrite of this stuff?

More opinions always welcome of course..

As for mstsc, this one is not related to this bug (message handling) but just a
broken app, see bug 1776
