That post doesn't indicate just says that Davy tested the software and was not
able to connect, it also says the he had to set it to ignore all errors.

It's enough to check color.c, line 530 to see the function isn't yet
implemented.

These two lines flood the debug log during execution of the program in 40601:

(subsystems/win32/win32k/objects/color.c:530) RealizePalette unimplemented for
deviceDCs 

err:(dll/win32/advapi32/sec/misc.c:511) NtQuerySecurityObject() failed (Status
c0000023)
