As hto suggested, you should set your hdd to primary master. 

If everything fails, you might also want to regress test it to particular range
or even pinpointed revision, using our prebuild iso`s from buildbot.

A question that i think, wasn`t asked yet: what ros revision are you trying? Is
it of your own build, or official?

I presume vbox is running on xp on host?
