Tested in home made 39442.

If you change the desktop color it will change to what you've chosen after
clicking on apply, but when clicking on Ok it changes back to original color.

I can reproduce it, using the following procedure:

- open "Properties for Display" dialog,
- choose "Appearance" tab,
- press "Advanced" button,
- change "Desktop - 1st Color",
- press "OK" in "Color" dialog,
- press "OK" in "Advanced Appearance" dialog,
- press "Apply" in "Properties for Display" dialog, desktop color will change,
- press "OK" in "Properties for Display" dialog, desktop color will change
back.

I don't know is it the same bug or another.
