I've also got 2 PC which is sb7X0 based.

I tested one of them which has only IDE HDD and CDROM (NO SATA drive there),
but it still failed.

I used latest (nearly) SVN Boot CD to boot, after loading the basic drivers
(first screen), it went to a complete black screen.

In fact, I could boot that PC before with the revision that didn't use uniata.
