[ros-bugs] [Bug 4504] dxdiag fails to start, catching the exception first ends up crashing virtual box.

The crash occurs in display.c:EnumerateDrivers:112 as soon as hList or
pInfoData is touched. those pointers point to a valid memory before a call to
EnumerateDrivers is made in display.c:SetDeviceDetails. 
any idea how long is this broken?
