After additional tests:

-revision: 47028+048+patched version of 057 have proper sound as well as sound
devices listed;

-revision: 47029+048+049+056+057 - show same issues as current trunk (since
47057) eg. working sound and lack of sound devices listed.

It seems rational to assume, that this issue must have been introduced either
in rev 029 or in 49/56/57.
