It didn't happen on REG_DWORD at r49087.
However it happens on REG_BINARY.

(1) Start up regedit.
(2) Move to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
(3) Add a binary value (REG_BINARY).
(4) Enumeration fails.
