Confirmed r54052. Virtualbox 4.1.2, Ubuntu 11.10.

Trash is not a good example to use here, because it has its own bug relating to
SDI/MDI (see bug 6460).

Steps:

Open My Computer, go to Tools>Options, set to SDI. Click OK, then close
explorer. Reopen and recheck to make sure settings took.

Restart via start menu. Go through steps again but change to MDI. Restart.

Go through steps again, and it should still be SDI instead of MDI.
