Summary: Freeldr can't be installed on HDD
           Product: ReactOS
           Version: TRUNK
          Platform: x86 Hardware
        OS/Version: ReactOS
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: Setup
        AssignedTo: ros-bugs at reactos.org
        ReportedBy: snaumann2912 at yahoo.de
         QAContact: ros-bugs at reactos.org

I have a Pentium 3 with 800 Mhz and about 256 MB of RAM. There are to HDDs in
there: one about 40 GB, with "unpartitionized Space" of about 4000 TB, and I
have a HDD with about 250 GB Space. On the first there is a linux involved,
ext3; on the second I have also a ext3 Partition.

When Installing ReactOS to a second partition (FAT) of the second harddisk it
installes properly, but it can't install the Loader with it. There is an error
message like this: "Can't install freeldr on MBR, put in a floppy disk and
press ENTER" (loosely translated). I put the floppy in, and pressed enter, it
apparently wrote something on there, but I can't possibly start ReactOS. Grub
hadn't found it at first, even manually adding the Menuentry and trying every
Partition where it could possibly be, it doesn't start. The Floppy Disk is
pretty worthless, because ReactOS doesn't start from there.
