First error window when trying to run Abiword

I have installed AbiWord 2.8.6 as requested.
When first run it did not launch and gave a missing (MSVCP90.dll) dll error.
After placing the missing dll in systemn32 folder and try and run the programme
again, I get a runtime error (see abiword1.png), when this error window is
closed there is another error window (see abiword2.png).
This second error window also appears when trying to run OOO and LibreOffice.
