Summary: Can't install ROS when there is NTFS partition on RealHW
Product: ReactOS
Version: TRUNK
Platform: x86 Hardware
OS/Version: ReactOS
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: Setup
AssignedTo: ros-bugs at reactos.org
ReportedBy: terminedijs at yahoo.com
QAContact: ros-bugs at reactos.org
ReactOS shows me 4 partitions:
1. NTFS
2. Type 15
3. NTFS
4. Unpartitioned space
I am trying to install ReactOS in 3rd partition as well as in 2nd. Setup gives
me option to format partition. Seems like it formats it for me, then it asks
for setup directory, I leave default "\ReactOS". I hit enter and setup says
"Setup could not create the install directory." After restarting computer, it
shows exactly the same partitions. It works if you delete that 3rd NTFS
partition using D option, but after copying files setup complains "Setup can
not install the bootloader on your computers hardisk". And I am not sure if
there should be something like "Type 15" partition.
