I forgot to mention I have tried with /MAXMEM=16 and I just tried with 64 and still no change. I
have noticed a little discussion about users having this problem with FreeBSD and SMP and APIC
enabled but this is a non-smp build and I don't see anywhere else we use APIC except in the
multiboot if SMP is enabled. I have also tried ACPI and non-acpi builds with no change in the
results. I will be picking up a Null modem cable tonight and will attempt to hook this laptop to
my Linux box so others can view some of the debug output.
