Of course, one could always provide functionality (within the installer)
to download the optional components. That way the user doesn't have to
download a 41MB file if he/she doesn't want to. No need to pack them up
into one installer IMO
IIRC a lot of installers support this, and I've seen this kind of thing in
Windows installers as well as NSIS and some other installers. Something
like the way the MinGW GUI installer works.
