[ros-kernel] pipetools build failure

Hello World,

pipetools does not build on Linux.
The problem is
| CC = gcc
| CXX = g++
| LINK = g++
in the Makefile, which overrides the variables set in rules.mak.

BTW, is "make install" the correct way to install ReactOS?  It seems,
the freetype stuff is not getting installed for some reason.
