[ros-kernel] Aaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh.... The format bug is back!

(Actually, I think it is a different bug than the one we had just before
0.1.4 release).
Not having done an install in a long time, I decided to test this again.
I setup a new VMware machine, attached a new 100 MB virtual harddisk to
it and booted from a newly created ReactOS.iso. It got as far as the
"Format partition" screen. There, an exception occurred with the
following backtrace:
