[ros-kernel] Feature freeze

I think this would be a fairly trivial thing to fix, although off the top of
my head all I can think is that maybe for some reason the edit control in
user32.dll isn't processing a key message properly. Could this be due to the
porting from WINE, as WINE was developed for Linux, and Linux and Windows
use different conventions for indicating the end of a line. Maybe it's
sticking in a \r instead of an \n in the text buffer?

Just a few wild stabs in the dark ;)
