[ros-kernel] Different Hardware Architectures

The problem is getting the compiler to generate proper PowerPC code to
actually compile the kernel and other components.  Eric and I worked on this
some time ago, but never got it to completely work.

So if you can get MingW to spit out correct PPC code, then the battle is
already half won.
