[ros-kernel] Memory requirements

I tried installing a build 0.2.1-CVS in Bochs 2.1 configured with 12Mb 
RAM, to match real hw where ROS failed with no error message. In the 
Bochs console I see "MM: out of swap space". Hanging is therefore a 
matter of swap space or a matter of the amount of physical memory?
