I see no reason to transfer copyright, once the Foundation knows my name 
(or the name of a third person who knows my name). If I transfer copyright 
to the foundation, I transfer responsibilty too: if I were malicious (or 
actually *paid* to sink the project), I'd be a lot happier to lie about my 
identity and disappear at the first sign of trouble knowing that you 
accepted my donation of intellectual property and, with it, the legal 
burden it carried. Be careful about what you wish, you may just get it
