Hi Folks:
 
visit the homepage of this multiprocessors allocator:  www.hoard.org
 
Fast, almost no locking, fragments little and scales almost perfectly to lots of CPUs and very important released under GPL.
 
I'm still not sure and want to research more but I have it as a candidate to adapt it to ReactOS if nobody opposes.
