Agreed.  If you are going to have a serious go at cc (which is not basic
code, btw, so beware), look at Captive NTFS in detail.  Many problems
were fixed and many additions to cc were made, to the point that it
loads ntfs.sys and fastfat.sys.  The author of Captive has been quite
willing to provide clarification if you get stuck on a point, as am I,
to the extent I can.
