I don't understand the question: cr2 and eax will have the same value.
'(%eax)' means the dword in the location in memory pointed to by the contents
of eax. If the location isn't accessible then the processor stores its
address (=eax) in cr2 and traps to the operating system.

Yes, that was the answer I was expecting and yes,that was the question I did. Interesting, that explains some things to me. Thanks, thanks a lot. I have to spend some time with those Intel manuals for a while :)). RTFM!! (screming to myself) :)) I start tonight. I come from userland when you never deal with those registers. In fact that is one the reasons I am around, to be face to face with unknown things. Is very nice to talk to you, is like talking to the author of a book you have been reading very long time. So far the book is great!! I have enjoyed it a lot. And now I am enjoing to thank you for it. Again, thanks for teaching me.
