A RosAsm fellow recently installed "reactos-0.2.1-binaries", on two
machines:

* Pentium 120 mhz 32 mb ram.
* AMD Athalon 900 mhz 128 mb ram.

He got REACTOS to successfuly boot up from a DOS cold start, and he
gave a try to RosAsm under ROS. As you may expect, yet many problems,
but, for now, the most important point - to me - is that RosAsm
Compilation fails at some point:

For building the .import Section, RosAsm does not make any use of
Protos. Instead, it tries to _load_ the DLL and to get the Function
Address to verify that the Source evocations are correct. As there
is no other Api call in this part of the Compilation, the hang can
only occur when calling one of these Functions:

KERNEL32.GetModuleHandleA
KERNEL32.LoadLibraryA
KERNEL32.GetProcAddress
KERNEL32.FreeLibrary

Other than that, he sent me an extended report of the "detail"
problems he encounted during the test, but i suppose you perfectely
know of them: ScrollBar miss-behaving, ToolBar Customization feature
missbehaving, Menus reacting in a "random" manner, and so on... ;)

Congratulations for the impressive work already accomplished.

Bye, courage, rené.

(Works actually OK under WINE, XP, 95 and NT families)

PS. Please, tell me if you are interrested, or not, by my reports.
I will try to install the next ROS Binary version, for tests, but
i suppose you'd prefer reports from experienced C Programmers. The
best i will be able to do, when i will have ROS up and runing in a
Box, will be to say what problem for what Api call. :)
