You can obtain the USB 2.0 specifications in pdf format from http://www.usb.org/developers/docs<http://www.usb.org/developers/docs>. I have most of the protocol coded already. The rest is mainly turing processes, which you can find is well documented.

Otherwise, no, this is my first driver that will do more than just print "driver: started".

  Hi!

I would say there is *a lot* to be done in this area. USB was made to be
simple for the end-user, not simple for the developer. Have you ever written
some kind of USB driver? I was once reading a bit of the specs and i think
you should first check how USB is interfaced in windows, then make some plans
  and then start coding ;)
Or do you already have any plans/flowcharts/whatever? If so please let us see
  them :)

Maybe I can help a bit with USB (altough the server side is really complicated
  afaik)
