Steven,

The hardware compatibility of Oem NIC drivers will be a major issue (see 
Bug 416) to have networking working on our PCs if we are not using the 
AMD PCnet driver ( like me - see Bug 346).

So I suggest the following , otherwise networking will ne work for many 
of us :

- test of all possible Oem Nic drivers have to be done in parallel 
between 0.2.4 and 0.3.0
- include the status of the candidate list of NIC drivers in your 
ReleasePlans
