I do not understand why revision 1.53 works and revision 1.54 does not.
There is no difference between 1.53 and 1.54 for the detection of the
master. The read/write sequence to the ide registers is the same. Can you
send me a debug log from loading of atapi for both versions and with NDEBUG
disabled?
