But something else I'd like is for the POSIX subsystem to be implemented properly. Then, I can get the best of both worlds: Windows applications and...

Re: need help for the website overhaul

While we're at it, should we make the ReactOS website run on ReactOS? :)

Re: need help for the website overhaul

Except that RosCMS is a complete pain in the ass to admin and the sooner we get off it the better. The average user might not "care" about the underlying CMS, but the harder it is for us web admins to deal with it, the less motivated we are to try to improve the basic user experience or e...

Re: need help for the website overhaul

We could just take the current site, add some rounded corners, gradients, and drop-shadow, and we'd be done. There's nothing wrong with it, really. Infact, that wouldn't be all that a bad idea. And probably more possible within a realistic timeframe, instead of trying to revamp the whole thing comp...

Re: need help for the website overhaul

Thing is, the "new" site design is rather outdated. The web has moved on in these 3 years.

This theme works well on ReactOS and IMHO is much prettier than Luna or Royale (and the original unedited version was the XP beta theme)
It looks good! And yes, it is prettier :D

Re: List of good styles

Nice minimal theme: http://heylove.deviantart.com/art/areao4-2-45532008 Nice, but please check if it works in ReactOS too. There are nice themes out there, but since Themes is a new feature and since ReactOS explorer is somekind hackish, not all the Themes work correctly in Ros. Thanks! :) ReactOS ...

Re: It's that thread again

For a try if theming works correctly, one could just put the classic "theme" into a themefile and use it on Ros. Everything more than that is overkill. Maybe you could open up a branch, but I don't see the point in Ros having great and perfect und futuristic and 10 GB of themes if I can't...

A screenshot of how it looks in ReactOS (I had to use Firefox to set the Royale desktop background since it was a JPEG)

Re: List of good styles

I believe the problem with most of these themes that people find online are that they are made in a way that just edits the Microsoft ones, so essentially, they still contain Microsoft "stuff". FlyingIsFun1217 Yeah. Well, I like Royale because it's actually a free theme, by Microsoft, so ...
