I am a bit confused here. You refer to ReactOS 0.4.14 but on the website latest available release is 0.4.12. Where did you get your 0.4.14 from?

5th repeated attempt of installation finally succeeded in getting past the 100% mark and had a successful reboot to desktop.

Have 512 MB RAM and 128MB Video memory for VirtualBox.

After downloading a second copy now it hangs at 100% while copying lake.bmp
VirtualBox process is at 50% CPU usage.

Installation of 0.3.7 hangs while copying files on VirtualBox. It hangs at varying stages depending on options selected such as language etc. With default settings it hangs near 69% completion of copying at the file wmilib.sys

Any help? Is there a way I can install Reactos manually?

One of the reasons Windows is disliked is due to the lot it ships along with the OS. Definitely ReactOS would do better not to include everything and its cousin along. Further keeping ReactOS as lite as possible during its developmental state makes me more willing to download a smaller file and test...

I got a brain wave! Went and requested for a new password under the pretext that I forgot my older one. Followed the procedures and was able to log-in using my old nick. But.... But..... I am unable to change the password from the autogenerated one to my own! Again I get the error password given by ...

EDIT: By the way, did not know that the signature is hard coded into every post and any change is reflected only in new posts!!!

Looks like I am unable to change my email address in the profile.
When I try to do that I get the error "Password does not match records" though I gave the exact password I used to log-in. However changing everything else while keeping the email address same works.
Any ideas?
