ReactOS 0.3 RC

Hi, I've seen the first RC has been released. Good. I've downloaded/burned the liveCD, and, as far as I can see, there is still no usb mouse nor keyboard support... It's quite annoying, that's the only thing that kept me from trying it on real hardware on my actual computer (it boots, load everythin...

Re: Basic development

I'm too new to C++ and C to really do anything there, but I'm pretty good in Visual basic, liberty basic, dark basic and the like. I was wondering if ReactOS supports programs written in those languages. Why wouldn't Ros supports those programs ? If it doesn't it will one day ;) Well, for Darkbasic...

I love this design, perhaps a little too much "blurred", but I love it !!
I hope ReactOS will include it when it'll suport themes :)

VMware works, but I just want to test it on real hardware, my computer is too slow to run on an emulator.

But what I would like to do is to play a bit with Ros without installing, just to see first, and this, I can't do it.
Also, the fact that all my harddrives are ntfs doesn't help 8)

I like your last icons (except the information icon), they are great !
You should seriously consider putting them in ros !

I think we want to audit all asm first. No way, that could take months maybe years. 0.3.0 is almost ready to go. We just need to fix ncpa and do some heavy testing. Sorry to be weird with that, but will it include FULL usb support for mouse and keyboard (by full I mean all usb keyboard and mouse wo...

Statut of USB Keyboard/Mouse

Hi !
I just wanted to know what was the current statut for USB Keyboard and mouse ? Is it fully supported ? Will it be included on the Live CD (not like 0.2.9) ?
I just want to test ROS on real hardware without installing it :)
Looking forward 0.3 :)

it is considered tainted under the new stringent IP policy  Well, anyway it's strange to realise that you now have to remove a lot of code, even without relation with the windows code... I mean, what's the problem with the code ? I'm quite disappointed that all the work i've followed since q...

I'm not sure if I understand, but you're talking as if there were VERY big part of "Windows code" :? I mean, isn't it easier to go through all the source files and to remove that code ? Going through all the sources would take a bit of time, but not years ;) I guess it's not that hard to f...

SVN are the latest builts, I think ;) I guess the best you can do is burn the installation CD, and try the installation first without installing  You'll see by the first screens if the keyboard works or not, and if it works, you should follow the installation, as maybe the usb will work when i...
