Re: ReactOffice
It should have a bit more features than Wordpad but a lot less than Word or Writer. I will also start a Word/Calc, Powerpoint/Impress, Publisher/Draw and Access/Base clone. BTW, there is already good tiny spreadsheet with Excel files support and it works quite good in ReactOS. But it is shareware :...

SIAG
I would like to see something to SIAG (Scheme In A Grid) Office under ReactOS...
It has it's own unique features, and it's very lightweight.
OTOH, it might not matter soon with Writely, Google Spreadsheet, Google Page Builder and Gmail.... who needs Word, Excel, PWS, Frontpage and Exchange anymore?

Realtek Cards
I picked up a big box of Realtek 8139 cards off eBay last summer, I have been installing them in just about every system I build/sell. As for the 3Com 3c90x, AMD PCNet, and Most Generic NE2000 compatible cards (Realtek RTL8019 is very common), go to your local Used computer parts store, and look in ...

IFShelper
This is just like the Media Player discussion. Your telling the developers to do something rather than to create proper tools for doing so. ReactOS should be able to support any filesystem someone has written a driver for. That is why the title of this post is IFShelper. ReactOS should use Installab...

APIs
Ok, how about this. The APIs are great, and should be included, along with a very simple client/container application. No one needs to go and rewrite another media player, there are millions of them out there to play just about any kind of media file you can dig out of the mold in the back of your r...

Re: tide149.microsoft.com
does they have 999999 TB disk to store all possible Archives found on the net ?? wery strange , becouse google and yahoo NEVER download files larger than 4 megs Well, if the small company I work for can have a couple TB in a 10 person office, then I'm sure a not so small company like Microsoft woul...

Whatever
Ok, so I made a mistake, big deal. If people can get away with chatspeak (replacing are with R and You with U and a number of malformations of the English language) in this forum, then I can get away with making a simple mistake.
Either way, the point got through.

I fully agree. Developing an application simultaneously on two or more platforms is most definitely not efficient. At most you can ensure during development that it'll be easy to port once you're (almost) done. There is no wiser advice anyone could give than this. It's nice to see that some people ...

Re: Compiled P4 and Normal Optimized Daily Build
With this you need to click with right and Select SAVE AS.. Didn't work. However, if you copy the link location, paste it into your address bar and put a space after it, it works. Old trick from Geocities for viewing screenshots. ....and now I have more use for my Mini CD-RW Discs.... Blank and reb...

Sourceforge
I have a Dead Project on SourceForge if you want. I can make it into a "distro" of ReactOS (I'll add a Zip file of some programs that run under ROS or something) If you have a SF account and know how to SCP into web space, I can add you to the project developers list. http://smalldesk.sf.n...

Ultr@VNC
Well, Ultr@VNC Starts, but can't connect to a server (I assume, since I don't have a Network enabled Build ... I hope)
I can't test it any further until it can communicate with a network stack (even if it IS a loopback connection)

Free Software . . . Penguine not included. I know its kind of a hit on Linux, and I like Linux but ReactOS has it's Non-Linux "selling point" Linux is a pain in the a** because half the time the instllers/configurators do their job WRONG and you have to edit text files yourself, which is f...
