Re: USB

I downloaded the latest build What do you mean by "latest build"? The 0.4.11 release from Sourceforge or one of the regular source tree builds from https://www.reactos.org/getbuilds/ ? I suggest that you get the very latest ISO image from https://www.reactos.org/getbuilds/ , because there has been ...

Where will you have your tutorial?

You may not know, but you have a personal wiki page here, that you could use for any tutorial you may make. Or you could post it here, in this topic.

Re: An Installation Guide for Real Hardware

zlm1229 I think that you need to rework this: Part 3 - Playing around with ReactOS 1. Congratulations you installed ReactOS when you feel inclined to mess with some things from the installation disk and for example, change the resolution. It just does not read right. This is my suggestion. (remove t...

From a default installation of ReactOS is it possible to make HTTPS requests from within a script? Normally on Linux I'd just use wget, but obviously that's not part of the default ReactOS install.
But you could try and install wget. ReactOS comes with a downloader called dwnl.

No, it was only tested on VirtualBox, in fact my computer don't have a CD/DVD reader, I can't test on real hardware.
Then it is not an epic win. InfraRecorder (tested a month or so ago) runs but does not find a CD burner, though the computer has 2 drives, so it is not an epic win.

No, I mean tests for release X page, for example: https://reactos.org/wiki/Tests_for_0.4.11

We should start with 0.4.12.
The author of that page is Reactosfanboy, so don't go upsetting him.

Re: Reasons for ReactOS Wiki

The Wiki's home page is crowded and seems intended as a place for only the most top-level of the Wiki's topics. I find it difficult to find my way around the wiki. There are pages that I know exist, but do not know how to find them, unless I have a good idea what the title is. So my suggestion woul...

Re: 57 specific reasons for wanting ReactOS:

What about a bullet point to each reason on the page Reasons for ReactOS? And a link from the front page of the wiki to the page.

There are other pages on the wiki that have no link to them and are basically lost within the wiki, these also need a link from the front page.

I downloaded the live cd today and have tried it on 2 computers and it freezes up on both of them. Not sure what information you need.
This is not very informative.
* You need to explain at what point it freezes.
* The hardware you are using.

Have a read at this.
