Re: Aspects of Vista/7/8/10 that should NOT be ported to React

Wow, the guy that permanently stalks other posters for minor grammer errors calls me a troll. Listen, braindead little bastard. If you are unable to tolerate criticism on your nonsense posts, than do not vomit your garbage in a public forum. Gosh, I tried to apologize and you scumbag have nothing be...

Re: Aspects of Vista/7/8/10 that should NOT be ported to React

I am sorry Winter but that was all troll-ish rubbish. I can't be bothered to respond in detail to someone who is clearly looking for a battle. My point on focus still stands. Honestly, if this is all you have to answer to a post that you do not like, you just should not answer at all. And just for ...

Re: Aspects of Vista/7/8/10 that should NOT be ported to React

NOT in the case of windows. The user can be merrily typing his password looking down at the keyboard and the o/s can pop up another window that takes focus away from the user and which takes the currently typed input as text for it to handle or display depending upon what it is doing, compromising ...

Re: ROSBE Auto-incrementing variable?

@Missingno50
There is afaik no build-in feature that allows you to do that. To archive what you want, you have to write an external utility to do it and let the make script call it.

Re: Year 2038 problem

You should probably actually learn about this stuff instead of screaming "the world is ending in the year 2000 because of all the broken computers". And maybe stop listening to whatever morons are telling you that a computer can't represent data larger than it's bus size. And you should s...

Re: Installations-Tipps bitte

Re: CIRRUS ONE freeloader question

To enable debug output from freeloader, open \reactos\boot\freeldr\freeldr\lib\debug.c and change the line "#define DEBUG_NONE" near the beginning of the file to "#define DEBUG_ALL" (or whatever
suits your needs) and recompile freeloader.

Re: 16-bit Windows Program Support

Could you clarify what you mean when you say wowexec? I have the feeling that you say wowexec, but in fact mean wow. Otherwise parts of your post don't make sense because they are technically imposible. Anyway, wowexec is just a part of wow, namely the Win16 shell that replaces progman from an unmod...

Re: 16-bit Windows Program Support

KRNL386, USER and GDI are tied directly to WoWEXEC engine, and WoWEXEC is deeply tied to MS NTVDM. Because the lach of official clean documentation, ROS VDM follows a different implementation model, and is almost nothing like MSVDM, except for some functions. Then you can't just take WoWEXEC and ma...

Re: 16-bit Windows Program Support

The NTVDM in Windows supports WOW16. ReactOS will need this to support Win16 programs. We just need to work on NTVDM not try to install Windows 3.x or have a Win16 Mode. Just, work on ReactOS's NTVDM. 16-bit Windows is DOS based. This means, you need to support DOS before you can support 16-bit Win...
