Re: Latest Arwinss ISO's

I think there should be selection what OS version should Reactos report to application - Wine has this function too. So that we can install applications that verify if OS is supported and then sometimes say that this OS is NOT supported - but would install successfully if we could convince them to i...

Yes, I've tried that too without success. Can someone verify this?

Re: Latest Arwinss ISO's

I've done as you said and restarted Reactos, but still I get the same message - that I am running MS Windows Server 2003 SP1. It seems that option you mentioned does not work? What OS should ROS report as workstation? XP?

which OS version does Reactos report to programs?

Really nice work done with Arwinss!

Can someone tell me which OS version does Reactos with Arwinss report to programs? I cannot install a program that says it cannot be run on Windows Server 2003. Can this somehow be changed?

Re: Old bug still present in 0.3.5

FF3 does not work correctly in ReactOS. Graphics is distorted, there are also no icons or text in menus.

Old bug still present in 0.3.5

I regret to see old bug still present in 0.3.5. You still have to move your mouse if you download something large in Firefox, otherwise downloading stops. This is really annoying and looks silly (I don't mean to be rude  ). However ReactOS is showing some progress with each version.

I believe that 2 months should be the MAX time without a release. Devs should do a release when they think that it is best.
Well, there is some contradiction in your post, don't you think? :)

Thank you, Alex for all your great work. Although there is sentence in your post which I dont understand: I don't think downplaying my departure is something you really want to do at this point, but that's up to you Smile Will you be more happy if anyone say: "Oh my god, Alex is living... oh no...

You said "was". I think you mean there was another such problem due to buffer overflow. My problem is still present in the trunk too, right?

OK, I thought it was known only for Athlon XP.

Is this due to same Intel-only optimizations? Is it not written in some generic i386 code?

ReactOS 0.3.1 FreeLoader issue

Congratulations for release!

Just for info: On AMD K6-2 500 MHz FreeLoader fails with Invalid Opcode.
0.3.0 boots fine on the same computer.

I have a computer only for ReactOS testing. I tried both LiveCD and ISO. Both give me the same error: An error occured in FreeLoader Report this error........ Exception 06: INVALID OPCODE Followed with registry info etc. Why is that? 0.3.0 worked on that same computer. On two other computers LiveCD ...
