Debugging Reactos from QEMU

Hi! How to debug the ReactOS-Kernel on QEMU running on a Linux box? a) kdbg? -> Won't compile with kdbg support. Broken? b) gdb? -> I think this will work with named pipes over serial-port emulation, but I don't know how. Any tips? Can I use the host-version of gdb? Greetings, Jan Schiefer! :D

Hmm...

I still would suggest someone that looks at all patches before they get applied.

With the development speed argument you got a point.

Coding philosophy: SVN tree always broken

I regularly checkout and build from the SVN tree. But I see it is broken every time for another reason. I keep questioning myself why developers submit half-made patches that break the tree instead of: 1. Getting it fully working on their computers 2. Checking if it still works with the newest SVN t...

Source checkout problems

I notice that there are nasty sourcecode management problems. I run "svn up" on my source folder "reactos". New stuff is loaded to my machine. But...when I compile it, I get wired compile errors. I don't get those nasty errors when I delete the source folder "reactos" a...

Wine is "compatible" to viruses, so ReactOS will be too.

What is most important for 0.3?

What do you personally think is the very most important thing that to do before ROS 0.3, besides fixing nasty bugs? I'd like to see more UI improvements. I want to see a fully functional Start Menue ( which implies shell32 improvements )!! I don't want to see those "stub" windows that don...

Load ROS forum directly full sized?

Load the ReactOS forum directly full sized in a new window when clicking on "Forum"?
