Re: Best web browser for ROS is Mypal?

Someone on reddit posted this concerning browsers: For the latest XP/ReactOS browsers, I recommend using roytam1's browser builds (New Moon 28/Serpent 52 for XP; New Moon 27 for ReactOS). Reason why i can't recommend NM28 for ReactOS is that it's based on Goanna/UXP, which was forked from Gecko 52, ...

Best web browser for ROS is Mypal?

I have recently tested Firefox 48, Mypal and a little bit of Opera on ROS (installed through the Appmanager) and my concussion is that Mypal is the best browser out there. Mypal is derived from Pale Moon (itself derived from Firefox) and updated with WinXP binaries regularly. Video, tested on real T...

Re: ReactOS 0.4.12 released

I have heard 0.4.13 has USB support? What can we expect here? USB mouse, keyboard, thumb drive, external soundboard is what I would like to test. I wanted to make an update video to my older ROS 4.10 n my T430 with eiterh 4.12 or 4.13 nightly. What would be good things to try out? https://reactos.or...

Re: ROS 0.4.10 running on a ThinkPad T430 with Btrfs and Ethernet working [video]

I just looked in my thread and unfortunately I can't help you with BTRFS. I do remember that after a system crash in ROS I the whole file system was magically teleported back to the last session before the crash (removing all changes from that session) so the Os is now safe against bricking it with ...

Re: Any way of getting audio to work on modern hardware?

It is surprisingly difficult to find an older USB AC97 sound card, maybe these were never produced bc that technology was on every board? However I did find this, maybe I should give it a try :D http://www.nanosoftsystem.com/bdpricelist-ac97-usb-sound-card-in-bd-dhaka.php Edit: might be same as this...

Any way of getting audio to work on modern hardware?

It seems that ROS does not support any modern HD audio right now? Driver installation got stuck at 100% CPU load when trying to install drivers on my ThinkPad T430(s). Is there any known way to get audio? I did get it to run on my old ThinkPad T23 with the Windows drivers but that is a vintage syste...
