There's no reason to be like the other guys and install everything that you might not want. I think the Downloader app should be able to get whatever you need if it isn't already included. I, personally, hate buying a new computer and having to spend a day or two trying to remove all the crap that c...

I voted for WinXP Silver, but so far it's not really a big deal. If I could use ReactOS instead of Windows, I really couldn't care about the interface. Once ReactOS is ready to totally replace Windows there will be all sorts of interfaces available....so who cares for now??

0.3.1 is known to have quite a few bugs in it that were fixed later in the svn builds. Try downloading a recent copy from svn.reactos.org/iso and see what happens. There have been a lot of changes since 0.3.1 so there is a good chance it will act a little better.

I like that one, too. Good work so far!! Maybe we should soon have a vote for which one is best.

I have this problem too, but if I'm correct, the reason is that the applications aren't built in the SVN .iso releases to keep the filesize smaller. I could be wrong on this, but I think that's what I read somewhere.

You're right
Make it a blue or red X and we might have a winner. I actually really like that design.

Maybe red with blue stripes would look better. I don't like the look of the yelow-green on red. And I think it looks better with both of the stripes the same color.

Have you any offer to me? What would be better? Simpler is better, in my opinion. Anyway some suggestions: 1. Use a different background-surface-form for the X ( this rounded square sign, for example); 2. Use standard aspect sizes/ratios for the radiation symbol ( here and here ); 3. A 3D perspecti...

Great presentation! Hopefully it helps to convince others to join in developing ReactOS.
It was funny that ReactOS wouldn't give a BSOD when he wanted it to.

Forum time incorrect??

Is it just me, or is the forum time incorrect? Even when I have the time set to GMT +13 hours, it seems to be behind by about 6-8 hours in my time zone. (I used to have it set at GMT -5 hours) I was just wondering if anyone knew about this. It's not too big of a problem, but it would be nice to know...

I've tried running it both ways and it always says, "could not find xml file". I'm running ReactOS under qemu, if that would make any difference to you. It's not really a big deal to me, but I figured I would point it out in case you wanted to know.
