Re: Does ReactOS only run inside a VM?

Let's get things straight. All, what I have initially said was this: "Sounds funny to me, being a beta tester for an alpha level product :-P". Just a play of words, nothing else. I even put a smiley there, to avoid it being mistaken for a serious complaint. But then I got a rather offensiv...

Re: ReactOS Community Edition (Indiegogo)

I am curious why you do not advertise the Indiegogo campaign to your supporters on Kickstarter? You do not need the money? You expect them to find out themselves? Like always, I am having a hard time to understand the ReactOS marketing strategies...

Re: Ionescu's talk in Montreal

Thank you for expressing the issue much better than I could! I fully agree. Let me sum it up this way: Interested people should not be forced to dig deep in order to get an overview of the work's progress. And no, this is not a complaint, but an advice. It is part of marketing. Believe it or not, yo...

Re: Ionescu's talk in Montreal

Well, difficult to convey my impression... I am following the ReactOS "progress" for many, many years now, mostly as a lurker (and as a donor, I might add). While "in the past" it was fairly straight forward to get a grasp what is happening, it is getting more and more murky. The...

Re: Ionescu's talk in Montreal

I really appreciate this talk, gives better information on the state of the project than the ReactOS web site (sadly!)

Re: Contract Awarded to Mike Nordell

Well, I should have added that this applies to transfers in Euros, of course. Here are the details: http://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/shopping/banking/day-to-day-banking/index_en.htm Let me quote the two essential parts: "For international payments in euros within the EU, banks should charge...

Re: Contract Awarded to Mike Nordell

Not all donations pay the "PayPal tax", definitely not mine. I always use direct bank transfer which I suggest for *everyone* within the EU. It is free of charge. One of the few things which the EU is actually good for. Prior to EU regulations the banks charged horrendous amounts.

Re: Contract Awarded to Mike Nordell

The rate of updates on donations is dependent on the availability of the accountant for the German based foundation. It is not something that can be automated easily, if at all. I understand that very well. The point of my inquiry, though, was an offer for help, if possible. Could it be managed to ...

Re: Contract Awarded to Mike Nordell

Well, joining the general celebrations with another 20 Euros donation. Keep them contracts coming and there will be more! Nothing motivates more than seeing the money getting used for a good purpose. Well, more frequent releases would be nice as well. Come on guys, only one release this year? You ca...

Apparently 0.3.7. got tagged this morning, the release cannot be far anymore. For anyone unfamiliar with software version control, it means that the code is done!

Are there any plans to make RectOS run under Xen?

Sorry for the incomplete question in the title, but there are length limits. What I meant to ask is if there'll be a paravirtualized version of ReactOS? That would be really neat.

Yes, I know, ReactOS is a long way from home, I was just wondering if that would be something worth to try?

Version 1.03 still shows "gradients" and "radiants" both next to the radio button as well as in the menu :-)

While it is definitely "Radian", you can call the other beast either Grad, Grade, Gon or Gradian (according to the Wikipedia)
