okay... thanks to all of you. But I have one question... On the Bootscreen (that looks like Windows NT) can be read, (c) 1996-2009. Do they really develop that long period of time? If yes, when do the developer plan to get ready with ReactOS?

okay... I have a quad2Core... I think a SATA HD. okay... In some weeks I might have an older PC, but ... I don't really know whether the freakin' HD will work properly... that thing is old already... Does a Pentium III 800Mhz and 128 MB RAM work?

But this doesn't have anything to do with my problem, or with Windows... Ubuntu for example is also based on the Linux Kernel...

At first: I like the idea of a free Windows, but there might be a better way (at least I think so) when you would use the existing Linux Kernel and create a Windows out of that... (I don't know if this is possible). I tested ReactOS in a virtual Box under Ubuntu and it was not able to install the et...
