I like what you did with my rudimentary graphic
i just added a screenshot to the wiki where you can see how this looks like
as you will see your graphics need to be resized a little bit to fit in the game :wink:

today i downloaded supertux and compiled it on my linux box "make install" created the directory /usr/local/share/supertux/images/shared where you find png-Files of enemys clouds waves bullets items and the little penguin so i just replaced some of the supertuxes with http://img142.echo.cx/img142/46...

umb, isn't linux based on an outdated os? i'm almost certain unix was around before windows 2000, but people still use linux, or am i missing the point somewhat? is dos 1.0 outdated? yes is linux 1.0 outdated? yes is win 2003 outdated? no is linux 2.6.11.7 outdated? no now what do you think win 200...

ok, I've tried it, and it deffinately seams faster, the bootup takes alot less time.
cool, would be nice to know how fast it is compared to vmware :)

nice compare but most admins wouldn't run any internet browsers on a server system... ;)
(btw: it was a "server: windows vs. linux"-discussion and we shouldn't get anymore OT by starting a closed- vs. open-source discussion)
