I think we can get the version from the iso name as well. If you downloaded a daily build, then it's part of the filename (e.g. bootcd-71199-dbg.7z = revision 71199), if you downloaded an official release (ReactOS-0.4.0-iso.zip), then it's most likely 0.4.0.
