Re: EPIC WIN!
That's really awesome! Does it actually work? Can you create a Gordian Digital Knot by remoting into the host PC? Anyone brave enough to try?

Re: roadmap and priorities
tverweij, ReactOS is an example of "flying the airplane while building it". It isn't fully compatible AFAIK with any NT architecture. The goal, as you pointed out, is full compatibility with NT 5.2, but we're not there yet. And it's not for a lack of roadmap either. Check JIRA - it's FULL ...

This. As soon as that happens, I'll throw away Windows and never look back.dizt3mp3r wrote:It must not crash and it must run stuff. I will then use it as an o/s, surprising eh?

Re: VirtualWin as base for virtual desktops
It's a really good idea to provide the link for something you're recommending: http://virtuawin.sourceforge.net/ I've never used it myself, and I really don't use multiple/virtual desktops myself (even when I'm on Linux). I doubt it will be included in ReactOS. Remember that the goal is open source ...

Re: Can development focus be switched from XP to Windows 10?
I hope this project doesn't switch it's focus from XP to newer versions, period. In my experience, the further into the future any project tries to take itself, the more likely the original working features break or lose focus for support entirely. And frankly, Windows 10 is kind of a junky OS in m...

Re: What is the latest on dial up networking support?
Do you have a timeline as to when dial up and VPN will be supported? We first need people actively working on that. We're mostly a volunteer organization, so the devs aren't paid employees. Everybody does what that can, but that leaves holes here and there. If that's a skill you have, we'd love to ...

Re: roadmap and priorities
But I partially agree on your point, that skilled people are necessary and you can't get them easily. I said "partially" because I still have hope that a good solution in the management could solve the problem but I don't think that it's .necessary to add more and more people (which we pr...

I would ask vicmarcal - he's the public relations guy. If he's not the right one to ask, he'll be able to tell you that.

Re: Please add the modified Lautus-theme of GreenteaOS
Oh, oops! I thought it was GNU GPL 3. I'll have to double check that. Whatever one ReactOS uses is the one that would apply, of course.

Re: Please add the modified Lautus-theme of GreenteaOS
Apologies if I misunderstood something. I'm seeing a question about whether or not there has been a license violation with this "new" OS, and I believe there has been. http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.txt Jump down to the section titled "5. Conveying Modified Source Versions" ...

I'm pretty sure that you can't use someone else's logo at all (without permission), even if you state it's unofficial. Why not just ask for permission?

Re: Mouse tracking
It's really hard to diagnose the problem from the limited into you've provided. Did you try restarting the machine? Was it a real hardware or virtual machine rest? What was the hardware configuration? Was anything else different about your setup other than the ReactOS version? Etc.
